One of my favorite up-and-coming artists in the game right now is Nolan Taylor. I've been listening to and keeping up with Nolan for over a year now. I've been so impressed, but not surprised, with how much Nolan has grown in just the past year or so, and am looking forward to seeing him continue to grow.

I first discovered Nolan Taylor back in the summer of 2022. I had bought tickets to see Logan Halstead in Nashville and noticed that Nolan Taylor was the opener. Since I wasn't familiar with him or his music at the time, I decided to check out his music to prepare for the show.

After listening to 'Double Life' which was one of the few songs he had on Spotify at the time, I was hooked. I was instantly blown away by his talent after just one song and then went on to listen to everything else he had released at that time. Nolan's music is truly a beautiful combination of strong vocals and musical ability paired with honest, emotional lyrics.

I was blown away once again when I saw Nolan live for the first time at that show in

Nashville. He played an amazing set with his heart on his sleeve. I went to the show with my mom and both of us were so moved by both his music and the stories he shared. He talks and sings about topics that many shy away from such as mental health struggles. I find his story inspiring and I am so glad to have found his music.

The first time I saw Nolan Taylor live was at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville in July 2022.

Not only is Nolan Taylor a talented musician and lyricist, he is also an incredibly kind person.

After that show in Nashville, my mom and I were lucky enough to meet Nolan and talk with him for a bit. He was so nice to both of us and thanked us multiple times for coming.

After the Nashville show, I kept up with Nolan and was ecstatic when I found out he would be playing a show in Memphis in June of this year. This show was at Growlers in Memphis, Tennessee, and Nolan opened for Uncle Lucius. I actually wrote about my experience at this show in greater detail. You can read all about it here!

My second time seeing Nolan live was at Growlers in Memphis this past June.

If you haven't listened to Nolan Taylor yet, I highly recommend that you check him out. His most popular song right now is '68' but I personally enjoy all of his music. His recordings are amazing but he is just as great, if not better, live. If you have the chance to see him live, take it.

As I said before, I am looking forward to seeing Nolan's future successes. I know this is just the beginning for him.
